Right, introductions.
I'm Dicle, a tattoo artist in Amsterdam. My work sits between fine detail and something bolder: thin and bold linework, black and white illustrative pieces, and a bit of colour when the piece asks for it.
I care about the small things. The balance, the spacing, the way a line moves with your body. And I want your tattoo to feel like yours, not something off a flash sheet everyone else has.

Tell me what you're after: a proper description, where it's going, and rough size in cm or a reference. Doing a cover-up? Send a clear photo of the old tattoo, no filters.
I'll come back with dates that work, how long I think it'll take, and the deposit to lock in your spot. We go over sketches before the day, so you're never walking in blind.
How do I book an appointment?
You can send a request right here, or email or DM me with the basics: what you want, where it goes, and rough size. Once I reply we can swap reference pictures. Doing a cover-up? Add a clear photo of the old tattoo, no filters.
Once the deposit's in, your date is yours. No backing out unless you're fine with losing it.
Can I bring my own design?
Yes, bring everything, I love references. One thing though: I'll redraw or adapt them so they fit my style and your body. Small designs lose detail when you shrink them, and some need to be flipped or tilted to sit right on the skin.
If it's another artist's exact piece though, I won't take it on. I don't trace other people's work.
Do you do cover-ups?
Sometimes, it really depends. Old, dark or heavily saturated tattoos are harder to cover and might need a bigger, denser design, or a bit of laser removal first. Send clear photos in good light, no filters, and I'll give you an honest plan: cover-up, partial removal, or a redesign.
What should I do before my appointment?
Before your session:
- Eat a good meal and get plenty of rest the night before.
- Stay hydrated. Skin takes ink better when it's not dried out.
- No alcohol or recreational drugs for at least 24 hours (they thin the blood).
- Don't burn or aggressively tan the area.
- Moisturise in the days before, but skip heavy oils the morning of.
- Wear comfortable clothing with easy access to the area.

How long will my tattoo take to heal?
Surface healing usually takes 2–3 weeks; full dermal healing can take a few months.
- First 48–72h: keep the bandage/film on as instructed, then wash gently, pat dry, thin layer of balm.
- Days 2–7: light scabbing and itching. Don't pick.
- Weeks 2–3: flaking finishes; lines may look muted until settled.
- 1–3 months: deeper skin remodels into the final look.
While it heals: no soaking, no heavy sweating, no direct sun. Once it's healed, SPF is your tattoo's best friend.
Important: spreading redness, yellow pus, heat building up or a fever isn't normal. Contact me and get medical advice.
How much does it cost?
Ah, the golden question. Honestly, it depends. Is it a tiny "I promise I won't regret this" tattoo, or a full-arm commitment to my art? Size, detail, colour and placement all matter. Send me your idea and the body part and I'll give you a price that won't make you cry. Too much.
Think of it like dating: cheap and fast usually isn't the best option. A deposit locks in your spot, and you pay the rest when we make your skin look great.
Do you offer touch-ups?
If something doesn't heal right, message me within a few months and I've got you. Small fixes are on the house. A rainbow explosion with a dozen colours might carry a small setup fee for the extra work.
What's your minimum charge?
My minimum is €80. That's the setup fee. Even a tiny tattoo needs the same sterilised setup, fresh needles, ink and cleaning as a big one.
